Real Madrid chief coach Zinedine Zidane spoke before the Champions League final against cross-town football rivals Atletico Madrid and after praising the latter's coach Diego Simeone, said he has "a lot to learn" to be "an important coach".
Four days before the final in Milan, Zidane commended the Atletico coach and admitted that despite leading the Whites to the final of the European club championship, he is still learning as a coach, reports Efe.
"I have a lot to learn as a coach, but the excitement that I am feeling is tremendous. I am going to make improvements, I am convinced of this, but I think I have a lot to offer to be an important coach," he said at a news conference.
"He (Simeone) has all that it takes to be a coach, and above all he knows his players really well," Zidane said when asked about Simeone, whom he considers the key to Rojiblancos' success.
