The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders nearly missed the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha leaders present at the manifesto release function of the party. The group from Darjeeling has offered support to BJP in the coming Lok Sabha elections. However, confusion prevailed as to who was supposed to break the news at the function. First, as BJP chief Rajnath Singh tried to make the announcement, he was interrupted, for someone thought L K Advani should do it. Again, when Advani missed the point and the function was ending, a harried Singh barely managed to welcome the guests from ‘Gorkhaland’.
