Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel said he planned to fly economy whenever he flew Air India. This got journalists to say that the move would hit Air India's earnings and so was a bad idea. Patel said that since the ministry paid the airline, may be he would buy a business class ticket and sit in economy! “You journalists”, he said, “are never happy, no matter what we do.”
