Visitors to the Information and Broadcasting Ministry (I&B) office at Shastri Bhawan are in for a pleasant surprise. While different parts of the building are being renovated, the corridor on the fifth floor — where I&B minister Ambika Soni sits — has been decorated with rare posters of award-winning films. The posters are properly framed and are being put up on walls outside the rooms of important officers. It is also heartening to see that not just Hindi films, but Marathi, Malayalam and other vernacular films have also found a place in this little hall of fame.
