After their discussions, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and visiting UK PM Theresa May sat down for a well-earned lunch with their respective delegations at New Delhi’s Hyderabad House. According to Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Vikas Swarup, the Indian PM asked his British counterpart whether she liked the food. May said she loved Indian food. Modi threw in some cricket humour. “We have a good cook who does this (prepares the food), but the real Cook has come with the English cricket team,” Modi, according to Swarup, told May. The English cricket team, led by its captain Alastair Cook, is currently on a visit to India.
