Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee has designed a letterhead for herself as well as a folder for material sent out of her office. The letterhead has her name in four languages — English, Hindi, Urdu and Bangla.
The first three languages have the minister’s full name but the one in Bangla just has her first name. The reason? “I am ‘mamata’ (motherly affection) for Bengal”, the minister is heard to have said.
