Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been attacking his alliance partner, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), for the past few weeks. Kumar challenged BJP to poach Janata Dal (United) members in Bihar, after BJP leader Sanjay Jha joined JD(U). “For the past three weeks, Kumar has been targeting the BJP leadership every Monday, after his meeting with the local people at his residence. It is like Kumar’s somvari (Monday ritual), but the BJP leadership has decided to duck the challenge,” said Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, a BJP Member of Parliament from Bihar.
