On-time performance

For a recent press conference by the popular Hindi reality show Bigg Boss, the channel that airs the show leased the hangar space of a leading airline as a novelty. The only problem was one of timing. Since the hangar could only be available for a limited period owing to the airline's own flight schedule, it was vital for the press conference to run on time. This was an issue only because Salman Khan, the celebrity slated to address the event, was notorious for being late - sometimes by as much as three hours - for events. To ensure punctuality, Khan was told to report at 3 p m, although the event was due to start only at 7 p m. Amazingly, the ruse worked and Khan turned up only half an hour late.
