Some members of the Bharatiya Janata Party, it appears, are finding it difficult to get used to the fact that many of their erstwhile opponents are part of the family now. At a rally in Kirari (north-west Delhi) last week, two-time MLA Anil Jha Vats took on former Congress MP from the constituency, Krishna Tirath, without realising that she had switched sides. "The previous MP never visited the area and failed to even inaugurate any development project in Kirari," he said. "But people of this area gave a solid answer. She not only lost the Lok Sabha election, even her deposit was forfeited."
