With every channel claiming to be number one during the election season, every person connected to the broadcast industry is going home happy. The competition is so intense among TV channels that any low ratings usually lead to job cuts in the industry. "The data of TV ratings are so confusing that if the data is given to CAT toppers seeking admission to IIMs, even they will not be able to decipher it," a broadcast executive observed, which is why everyone claims the number one award. The good news from this, he added, is that there will be no job cuts this year!
