Don’t think Delhi’s pollution is the common man’s issue alone. Amitabh Kant, chief executive officer of NITI Aayog, has had to change his exercise routine, thanks to the city’s alarming pollution. An avid golf player, Kant was forced to give up the outdoor sport for more than a month. “It is equal to smoking 100 cigarettes at one go,” he said. He resumed golf last week, this time with an anti-pollution mask covering his nose and mouth.
