While Shivinder Mohan Singh, the managing director of Fortis Healthcare, expressed the health-care industry’s disappointment with the Budget on behalf of Ficci, his elder brother and Chairman of Fortis, Malvinder Mohan Singh, re-emphasised the point in his capacity as the representative of CII. The minister chose to respond to the younger brother’s query that came first, but ignored the health-care part of Malvinder’s question.
