On Thursday, Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley decided to slam the Congress party on its double-speak on the Naxal issue. As Jaitley quoted Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh's article in a newspaper, Janardan Dwivedi, another Congress general secretary and the party’s chief spokesperson, stood up to defend his party. This prompted BJP’s chief whip, Surinder Singh Ahluwalia, to take a dig at Dwivedi. “Janardanji”, he said, “sit down. You are a junior general secretary, while Digvijay Singh is the senior. We go by what the senior general secretary says.”
