Last week, the Janata Dal (United) released a booklet highlighting what it termed the "failures" of the Narendra Modi government in the last two years. Titled Saach Ka Samna, the booklet has a picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the cover, spinning a globe on his fingertip.
Among other things, it criticises his frequent visits to foreign countries. The Bharatiya Janata Party's Bihar chief, Mangal Pandey, was quick to dismiss the points raised in the booklet saying it was a bunch of lies and had been released to divert people's attention from the issues that had put the state government on the back foot.
