A Sunday event to mark Nasscom's 25th anniversary saw the presence of Prime Minster Narendra Modi, Union Minister for Communications and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad and Minister of State for finance Jayant Sinha, besides the who's who of India's information technology sector. Prasad, the guest of honour, began his speech by acknowledging the presence of the prime minister, the audience and the 'three esteemed Chandrasekhars' (Nasscom President R Chandrashekhar, Cognizant Executive Vice-Chairman R Chandrasekaran and TCS, CEO & MD N Chandrasekaran) on the dais, instead of addressing them individually. When it was Modi's turn to address the gathering, he followed Prasad's style by calling out the Chandrashekhar 'tigri' (trio), eliciting a round of applause from the audience.
