Turn, Turn, Turn

At a meeting at Mahindra Satyam’s facility in Hyderabad, a senior employee of Satyam asked Anand Mahindra, “We (Satyam) are a one-year-old bride in an extended family. How do the husband (Tech Mahindra) and the in-laws (the Mahindra Group) feel about us?” To which, Mahindra recited the Pete Seeger song, Turn Turn Turn — he was honest enough to say, though, that he’d googled it. To everything (turn, turn, turn)/There is a season (turn, turn, turn)/And a time for every purpose under heaven … Not to be outdone, Corporate Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid, who was present at the meeting, said: “There was Satyam, after that I have seen Shivam and Sundaram… and now you have Anand.”
