A few weeks ago, many thought it was yet another spam mail. Sent by Chennai-based astrologer K V Gopalkrishnan it predicted - before the exit polls - that the Bharatiya Janata Party would get an absolute majority and this election would be the worst show by the Congress party in the history of India. He also predicted that many stalwarts would be decimated. Everyone ignored the mail till the election results were announced and the astrologer proved bang on. In the same mail, Gopalkrishnan has suggested an auspicious time for Narendra Modi to take the oath of office as the next prime minister. If Narendra Modi takes the oath on May 25 at 11:41 a m or on May 27 at 10:34 a m, he will rule India for 10 years and this will be a "golden period" for our country, the astrologer said. Modi, however, has opted for May 26.
