Former prime minister and JD(S) party chief H D Deve Gowda is fishing in troubled waters. As the opposition stepped up its heat on the government over the 2G spectrum scam, Gowda jumped into action to pursue his dream of forming a third front with non-BJP, non-Congress parties. On Monday, Gowda will host a meeting at his residence with leaders from the Left, SP, RJD, AIADMK, TDP and BJD to chalk out a strategy for this current logjam. This is also an attempt to showcase they are different and not part of the BJP camp.
