The Aam Aadmi Party’s Tamil Nadu wing is planning to organise a statewide protest against the hike in prices of essential commodities. In addition, the National Campaign Jhadu (Thodappam) Yatra is scheduled to happen for a week from February 15 to 23.

The yatra will be flagged off tomorrow in Chennai. The party’s state wing decided to take up the national issues, leaving out problems related to the state.

The protest is also against Reliance on the alleged irregularities in pricing of natural gas in the K-G Basin. In a handout, the party said the Aam Admi was not able to buy sugar, dal and burn cooking stoves, but Reliance profit is not sufficient.
