BJP leader L K Advani today showered praise on Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan for organising a huge party workers' rally to pay tributes to party's principal ideologue Deen Dayal Upadhyay.

Lauding Chauhan for mounting an impressive show, all with party workers and no public, Advani said no other political party in the country had the capability of organising such a meeting of its own workers as the BJP had.

Talking about the September 25 "Karyakarta Sammelan" in Bhopal in his blog today, Advani said, "It will always remain etched in our memories because of the all time record number of party activists who assembled there and that too activists of just one state, Madhya Pradesh".

"On the stage were all central leaders of the party. Assembled at the Bhopal Jambori Maidan in front of them were as many as exactly 6,49,702 party workers who had formally registered themselves for this unique conclave," Advani said in his latest blog.

"I doubt if any other political party in the country has even the capability of achieving anything of this kind," he said.

The BJP leader said at least ten party workers were drawn from each of the 59, 896 polling stations spread over 51 districts of Madhya Pradesh.

"It is what I witnessed this day in Bhopal that made me sincerely feel that for BJP there are no full stops," he said.

"Someone rightly remarked: No one could have conceived a better tribune to Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay's memory than what Madhya Pradesh has done this year," the BJP leader said.

Advani said it is just a happy coincidence that the event was organised ahead of the announcement of polls in the state, which are scheduled on November 25 this year.
