The Lok Sabha as well as the Rajya Sabha were Tuesday adjourned till noon over the issue of separate Telangana and price rise.
In the Lok Sabha, as soon as the question hour began members opposing the division of Andhra Pradesh for the formation of a separate Telangana state started disrupting the house by raising slogans favouring a united Andhra Pradesh.
Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the house till noon.
In the Rajya Sabha, Chairman Hamid Ansari said he has received a notice from Leader of Opposition Arun Jaitley to suspend the question hour for taking up the Lokpal bill.
But, Samajwadi Party members continued to protest so Chairman Ansari adjourned the house till noon.
