Here's a look at the Bills likely to be taken up in the second part of the Budget session

The Lok Sabha reconvened on Monday for the second part of its Budget session, which will go on till May 8.

The Rajya Sabha, which has been prorogued, is slated to reconvene on April 23 and will be in session till May 13. 

Here’s a look at the Bills likely to be taken up in the second part of the session:

• The Finance Bill, 2015
• The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Amendment) Bill, 2015
• The Constitution Amendment Bill for introduction of the goods and services tax
• The Disclosure of Foreign Income and Assets Bill
• The Real Estate (Development & Regulation) Bill
• The Electricity (Amendment) Bill, 2014
• The Benami Transaction (Prohibition) Bill
• Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Amendment) Bill
• The Companies (Amendment) Bill, 2014
• The Nuclear Safety Regulatory Authority (NSRA) Bill

Following the promulgation of the Land Ordinance for a second time, the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Amendment) Bill is also likely to be considered during the current part of the session.

The first part of the Budget session of Parliament had ended on March 20, as both Houses were adjourned to enable the Department Related Parliamentary Standing Committees to examine the demands for grants of the different ministries.

During this part, the Lok Sabha had passed 14 Bills, while the Rajya Sabha cleared eight. Seven Bills were passed by both Houses. 

The ones passed by both Houses were: 

• The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2015
• The Insurance Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2015
• The Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill, 2015
• The Mines and Minerals (Development & Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2015
• The Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Amendment Bill, 2015
• The Constitution (Scheduled Castes) Orders (Amendment) Bill, 2014
• The Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation (Amendment) Bill, 2015

Besides these, the Rajya Sabha also passed The Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Amendment Bill, 2014, which the Lok Sabha had cleared in the winter session. 

Apart from the seven Bills mentioned here, the Lok Sabha passed seven other Bills in the first part of the Budget session

• The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Bill, 2015
• The Warehousing Corporations (Amendment) Bill, 2015
• The Repealing and Amending Bill, 2014
• The Appropriation (Railways) Vote on Account Bill, 2015
• The Appropriation (Railways) Bill, 2015
• The Appropriation (Vote on Account) Bill, 2015
• The Appropriation Bill, 2015

During the session, the government withdrew The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2014, introduced in the Lok Sabha during the winter session, saying a fresh regulation would be introduced to merge the Person of Indian Origin and the Overseas Indian Citizenship schemes. 

The Rajya Sabha withdrew three Bills: 

• The Insurance Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2008
• The Border Security Force (Amendment) Bill, 2011
• The Wild Life (Protection) Amendment Bill, 2013.
