Shah aim is to tour the entire nation before the general election

Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah will be in Kerala on a three-day tour from Friday, as part of preparations for the 2019 general election. He will attend 21 meetings. His aim is to tour the entire nation before the general election.

Shah will lay the foundation stone for a state headquarters building on Sunday, besides attending meetings to on expanding the National Democratic Alliance in kerala. He is expected to meet the families of BJP sympathisers who have faced violence at the hands of supporters of the Left Front government in state.

Modi’s Europe visit

Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi will visit Germany, Spain, Russia and France between Monday and Saturday. The external affairs ministry has announced he will hold talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy and French President Emmanuel Macron.

On Tuesday, Merkel and Modi will hold the fourth India-Germany Intergovernmental Consultation (IGC). They will later jointly address a business forum. Modi will also be hosted for a courtesy meeting by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. The PM will then fly to Spain and hold talks with Rajoy. He will also call on King Felipe VI. A round-table discussion with Spanish business leaders is on the agenda. 

He will land in Moscow on Thursday, where he will attend the India-Russia Annual Summit at St. Petersburg, with President Vladimir Putin. Modi will participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on Friday. He will fly to Paris for a two-day visit on June 2. He will hold discussions with the newly-elected President Macron on strategic issues.

Rahul in Telangana 
 

All India Congress Committee Vice-President Rahul Gandhi will release a 'chargesheet' against the failures of the Telangana government at a Praja Garjana in Sangareddy on Thursday. Telangana saw a visit by Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah in May, to expand the party's footprint.

Gandhi and the Congress's attack will be entirely on the ruling K Chandrashekhara Rao-led TRS government, a party neither supporting the BJP formally nor the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance. Gandhi is looking to resurrect the party organisation that was captured by the TRS following the movement for statehood of Telangana. He will hold a public meeting in Sangareddy.
