Shivpal confident of Third Front formation after LS polls

Says SP will play a decisive role in the formation of the next government

Uttar Pradesh's PWD and Irrigation minister Shivpal Singh Yadav today exuded confidence that the Third Front would come into existence after the Lok Sabha elections and Samajwadi Party would play a decisive role in the formation of next government at the Centre.

"Third Front would definitely be formed after the Lok Sabha elections and Samajwadi Party would play a decisive role in the formation of the next government at the Centre," Yadav, who was here to attend a function, told reporters.

Yadav said that BJP's prime ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi taking the centre-stage in the Lok Sabha elections would eventually benefit the SP. He, however, refused to elaborate any further on it.

On party workers protesting candidature of Parasnath Yadav replacing earlier announced nominee KP Yadav, Yadav said that it was the right of the workers and if their demand was found justified it would be considered.
