ARSS bags order worth Rs 36.31 cr from SAIL

  • The order involves construction of railway tracks at Rourkela

The Bhubaneswar based ARSS Infrastructure Projects Limited, focusing on construction of roads, highways, bridges, irrigation projects and EPC activities for Indian railways has secured a project worth Rs 36.31 crore from SAIL.

The order includes construction and up gradation of railways tracks for RSP yards and in plant new lines at Rourkela.

The company recorded positive numbers indicating a successful first quarter of FY 2010-11. PAT increased by 80% to Rs. 34.05 crore as compared to Rs 18.90 crore in the same period previous year. Its Income swelled by 59% to Rs 356.48 crore and EPS increased 52% to Rs 22.94.

Commenting on the order, Mr. Sunil Agarwal, President  & CEO, said, “We are grateful to SAIL for entrusting their confidence and assigning us the project. The first quarter of the current financial year has been extremely fruitful and our team is committed to continue with such positive performance throughout the year.”
