Bartronics India Limited, one of India’s largest bar code and RFID technology companies announced its fourth quarter and full year results for fiscal 2010.
Consolidated financial highlights for the Year ended March 31, 2010
- Revenue for the year ended March 31, 2010 was Rs 845 crore; up by 44% YoY
- EBITDA margins for the year ended March 31, 2010 stands at 28.3% for the year; up from 15.3% of the corresponding period last year
- PAT for the year stands at Rs. 107 crore; up by 417% YoY
- Basic EPS for the year stands at Rs.34.8 in relation to Rs. 7.3 last year
- Revenue from India, Singapore & USA at Rs.599 cr., Rs. 119 cr. & Rs. 127 cr. respectively
- Healthy order book position with Rs. 130 Cr from Smart Cards and Rs. 600 Cr from the AIDC Solutions business
Consolidated financial highlights for the quarter ended March 31, 2010
- Consolidated Revenues of Rs 265 cr; sequential growth of 11% YoY
- EBITDA margins stands at 24.6% for the quarter
- Net Profit for the quarter stands at Rs. 28.8 cr; sequential increase of 32%
- EPS for the quarter stood at Rs. 8.8; a sequential growth of 26%
- Revenue from India, Singapore & USA at Rs.189 cr., Rs. 25 cr. & Rs. 51 cr. respectively
Commenting on the results, Mr. Sudhir Rao, Managing Director said “We have had a commendable year in terms of revenue growth and profitability which was primarily driven by the increased traction of business from the domestic segment. Domestic RFID segment has gained strength and increased awareness as newer sectors have started adopting this technology.”
He also added, “The recognition for the ‘Aapke Dwar’ project from various sectors has been quite gratifying and we expect to replicate the model in other cities in the country. We expect the government to be a bigger consumer of our services this year with the announcement of various projects in the Union and Railway Budget.”
