Opens First ‘easyday Market’ to provide consumers every day low priced products
- Store to offer over 13000 quality products
- Set is over 36,000 sq. ft ; store offers a wide assortment range and an everyday low cost shopping experience
- Employs more than 170 people comprising housewives, school dropouts, vegetable & fruit sellers
Bharti Retail, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bharti Enterprise, today inaugurated its first store, easyday Market, in South India at Jayalakshmipuram, Mysore. The easyday Market store offers customers an everyday low cost shopping experience, high in-stock levels and about 13,000 quality products all under one roof.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Andrew Levermore, Chief Operating Officer, Bharti Retail, said: “We are delighted to launch our first store in South India in Mysore. With this launch, Bharti Retail marks its entry in the South India market, a market with tremendous potential and a discerning customer. We are confident of delivering high standards of customer service, consistent low prices and quality goods to the residents of Mysore, much like we have across 8 North and Central Indian states, thus saving people money so they can live better . We are optimistic that this easyday Market store will soon become a preferred shopping destination for the people of Mysore.”
The easyday Market, Mysore store has provided quality employment opportunities to more than 170 people which includes housewives, differently-abled, meat cutters, fruits and vegetable sellers, school and college dropouts. The merchandise has been displayed in a customer-friendly manner to create a new experience and facilitate shopping.
