To automate Local Authorities and provide seamless dissemination of information across the entire Ministry of Local Government.

Eastern Software System (ESS), India's premier ERP Company offering cutting edge technology solutions and services to clients worldwide, has announced that it has been awarded a prestigious contract for implementation of back office systems across the entire Ministry of Local Government [MLG] in Mauritius. MLG has nine Local Authorities [LA] across Mauritius that are responsible for construction and maintenance of public infrastructure, collection and disposal of waste, provisioning and regulation of markets and fairs in their respective zones. Earlier each LA had its own application software and it used to be exceedingly difficult to get a bird's eye-view across all the LAs. ESS will work precisely on this aspect and deploy a single, uniform system across all the LAs.

According to Anil Bakht, Managing Director, Eastern Software Systems, “We are     extremely proud to have won this prestigious contract from the Ministry of Local Government in Mauritius as it shows that the popularity of eBizframe is growing from strength to strength in the overseas markets. We are confident that this implementation will enable us to showcase our capabilities to other government agencies and the private sector in Mauritius and win more business.”

ESS’ ebizframe ERP implementation will help to these Local Authorities and provide seamless dissemination of information across the entire Ministry. The specific functions which ESS will automate are: Procurement & Inventory Management, Human Resource Management & Payroll, Project Management, Budget Control & Cash Bank Management, MIS for Government Council and Ministries.

This prestigious contract further reemphasizes ESS' position in the ERP domain. Ebizframe has already been implemented in several government and semi-government organizations across various parts of the globe like Ghana, Kenya, etc.  Apart from this, ebizframe has also been established as the leading Indian ERP for the private sector in several developing economies across the globe.

Rated amongst the top 10 ERP companies in India by Frost & Sullivan, ESS has time and again successfully outbid international majors for prestigious ERP implementation and customized web applications development projects both in terms of price and features. ESS also ranks amidst top 10 home-grown software product brands from India. ESS has successfully implemented eBizframe, its flagship ERP product, for clients in more than 15 verticals in 25 countries and 6 different languages.
