Ex-Training head of Kotak Life joins the advisory board of IIFM

Mr. Samir Parekh, who headed the training team at Kotak Life, has joined the advisory board of International Institute of Financial Markets (IIFM). Mr. Parekh will be involved in adding training prowess to IIFM and will provide strategic management inputs for the development of the company. He is an independent training advisor to various corporate houses and successfully manages his training firm M4, Making Monday Morning More.

Speaking about the appointment, Mr. Pranav Chaturvedi, Co-Founder–IIFM said, ‘We are glad and humbled to have Mr. Samir Parekh on the IIFM board. A chartered accountant, Mr. Samir Parekh has worked across sectors in various organizations. He has worked with PriceWaterhouse Coopers, Usha Martin, and Kotak Mahindra, in various capacities in Audit, Accounts & Finance function, Sales, Customer Care and Training. Samir has independently distributed mutual funds by creating his own distribution company. Prior to this, he was the CEO of a '120 Crore IT company listed on the Indian bourses. This diverse exposure across products has helped him to gain holistic insights into organizational workings; understanding and adapting to the client needs, and accordingly develop tailor-made solutions for them.

Samir is an independent consultant to companies like Birla Sun Life Insurance, SBI Life Insurance, Citibank, Reliance Consumer Finance, IFFCO Tokio, Asian Paints, Intelenet Global, Datamatics and their likes. He conducts training programmes for middle to senior management levels covering various topics ranging from finance to sales.
