Global School of Management Science, a global leader in Management Science  helping its students understanding marketing and management tools & techniques for future, today organized a full day seminar on ‘Brand Management in changing and challenging times: World v/s India’ by Mr. Donal William Bathie ( France). The lecture was designed to support students understand Brand Management as an application of marketing techniques to a specific product, product line or brand in a better prospective. The seminar witnessed an overwhelming presence of the students and management faculties.

Mr. Bathie started his leacture with OM, the universal symbol. In every customer ( cust – OM – er ) there is an OM. According to him, ’’ a brand is a continuous delivery of a promise for the customers, and it is a generation of lifetime customer value for the business’’.

Focusing on the need and requirement of brand management in challenging times like previous year, Mr. Bathie cited many examples from some of the most successful brands from across continents about how brands should use different tools and techniques in most effective way.

Speaking on this occasion, Prof. M.P. Gupta, Director General, Global School of Management Science and Former Dean FMS said, ‘’ Global School of Management Science is committed to make available the minds in field of management across the globe for its field of nurturing and building brands. It will help them in understanding management science in a simpler and practical way, so that they would be able to associate brands with the life and lifestyles of a consumer.’’

Profile of Prof. Donal William Bathie (France): Professor Marketing Management, Former Professor University of Paisley, University of Teeside. He has written 2 books, 48 papers in Intl. Journals/ Seminars, 26 Projects. Teaching and research interests lie mainly in the area of applying marketing ideas and the development of marketing orientated organizations and managers. Very active in a range of management development programmes in UK organizations.
