Manav Rachna chancellor honoured at Congress of Integrated Medicine

An Honorary Doctorate was confirmed upon Dr O.P. Bhalla, Chancellor, Manav Rachna International University, at the proceedings of the World Congress of Integrated Medicines at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia recently.

The Senate and the Board of Directors conferred the honour to Dr Bhalla, which is a singular honor rewarded on the basis of achievement in humanitarian service and merit of excellence. The degree certified that - Dr Om Prakash Bhalla has fulfilled the qualifying requirements, the degree of Doctor of Literature (Honoris Causa) with all the rights, honours and privileges pertaining to this degree. The prestigious honour certificate has been signed by the Chancellor, Registrar, Chairman, and Secretary-General of the Open International University for Complementary Medicines and Medicina Alternativa.

The Doctorate was given in front of an august gathering of personalities from across the world. Amongst the distinguished gathering was present Prof. Dr. Sir Githajan Medis, Chariman of the University.

"Education should be par excellence and can be the only medium to strengthen the capacities of children to act progressively and allow them to acquire relevant knowledge which will help them to develop skills and appropriate attitude, " believes Dr Bhalla.
