Manav Rachna is India's first institution to tie up with iCarnegie

Manav Rachna Educational Institutions has announced 5-year collaboration with iCarnegie, a subsidiary of Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA (USA). Manav Rachna International University is the 1st Indian university to be associated with iCarnegie.

  • MRIU is the first university in India to launch embeds System Software Design courses developed by faculty of Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburg, USA in its curricula in B.Tech programmes and leading to an additional certification by iCarnegie.
  • This association will focus on various skill-centric courses with the aim to provide students in India with high quality practical outcome-based curricula that can improve their employability and life skills.
  • Recently a student of MRIU have visited US to attend iCarnegie global scholars international honors program. The Dynamic and Exciting Robotics Education, gave him an opportunity to use and understand the state-of-the-art curricula in Robotics.
  • Faculties from iCarnegie regularly conduct regular workshops / trainings for students and faculties at MRIU. Recently, Mr. Robin Shoop, Director, Robotics Academy, CMU has conducted a workshop for MREI faculties and gave them an opportunity to use and understand the state-of-the-art curricula in Robotics as a step to teach Computer Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (CS-STEM).

  • SSD8: Networks and Distributed Computing
  • SSD9: Software Specification, Test and Maintenance
  • SSD10: Software Projects Organization and Mgmt
