Premium Luxury Eyewear Brands launched in India

India’s tryst with luxury eyewear continues as International brands like Nike, Henry Julien, Korl off, Azzaro, Guy Laroche make grand entry into Indian market. The luxury eyewear range was unveiled by the brand representatives at a gala event today. After winning hearts of the crème de la crème across the world, the brands have stepped into the Indian subcontinent, confident of winning over the elite in the same way. Pramukh Swami Optics, the largest optical distributor of India has introduced the premium eyewear in India. Mr Haresh Moradia, MD, Pramukh Swami Optics comments, “It is my honour to bring this premium range to India. The Indians have matured as consumers and they are now ready for premium eyewear.”

The following brands were launched:

Henry Julien: The brand stands for quality and creativity. Established in 1980, the specialty of the brand was the setting of the frames with precious gems and gold. For over 90 years the brand is designing the elite. The gold frames are anti corroborant and oxidization resistant. They are also more durable and hypoallergenic. Over the years, the brand as evolved its styling to suit the needs and taste of contemporary citizens and made frames of stainless steel. The stainless steel frames are chosen for its hypoallergenic and durable properties. The state of the art Sandvik Nanoflex technology used in the frames makes it wear resistant.

Nike : The brand has positioned itself as the number 1sports brand made for athletes and designed for ultimate comfort. The various tints have been designed to eliminate glares from reflective surfaces making outdoor activities comfortable. They have also been styled to soothe tired eyes. The frames have been designed to provide a better grip not hitting the occipital bone, thus ensuring comfort at all times. A new range of eyewear has been launched for golfers as well as swimmers. The range is lightweight giving the wearer optimum relief for sports activities.

Guy Laroche: This range of optical wear is the epitome of elegance. Born in 1957 in Paris, it has become one of the most reputed French designers of the world. The range of eyewear stands for sensuality, contemporary designs while emphasizing elegance. The collection is targeted at the middle aged sophisticate in the age range of 35-50. The exceptional effects of the range are achieved by level or relief lamination, metal plates of different shapes and size, matt and shiny effect laser etching. Strass crystals and studs are also used to create the air of extraordinaire.
