Watson Wyatt Worldwide, a leading global consulting firm, today announced the appointment of Dhritiman Chakrabarti as Managing Director for Watson Wyatt in India. Dhritiman will be responsible for overseeing the management of Watson Wyatt’s three practices in India - Human Capital Group, Benefits and Insurance & Financial Services Consulting. He will be based in Gurgaon.
Announcing the appointment, Bob Charles, Watson Wyatt’s Asia Pacific Regional Managing Director said, “We have ambitious growth plans for India where there’s an increased need for quality partnership in our areas of expertise. We have aligned our organisation in India to match those needs and continue to invest in this market with the tremendous potential that it offers. We are very pleased to have Dhritiman, who brings with him a wealth of experience in global consulting and management experience to lead this effort.”
A post graduate from the Institute of Management Technology, Dhritiman has nearly 13 years of core consulting and management experience in a career that has involved working in several countries including the USA, China, Malaysia, Singapore and India. With expertise in most areas involving Human Capital Consulting, his past experience was with Hewitt Associates and Aon Consulting, before joining Watson Wyatt in January of this year.
