The grisly poster features a young woman contorted into the shape of a '2'. "The Last Exorcism Part II" continues the tale of Nell Sweetzer, once again portrayed by Ashley Bell, reported Digital Spy online.
The possession victim is found living wild in the Louisiana woods, with large parts of her memory of the preceding months missing.
Seeking refuge in New Orleans, she tries to deal with the death of her family and build herself a new life, only for the entity that had previously menaced her to return and continue to plague her life with horror.
Ed Gass-Donnelly will direct the sequel to the 2010 film from the screenplay he wrote with Damien Chazelle.
"The Last Exorcism Part II" will hit theatres on March 1 in the US and March 15 in the UK.
