1.1 kg charas seized, two held

Two persons have been arrested and over one kg of charas has been recovered from them in Chenani area of Udhampur district, police said today.
Acting on a tip-off, police yesterday nabbed Mukhtiar Ahmed and his namesake, both residents of Rajouri and recovered 1.1 kg of charas during a surprise check at Chenani, they said.
A case under NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act has been registered against the accused, they said.
