The accused, 22-year-old Ali Sher, was arrested from his native village in Mewat in Haryana, said Ishwar Singh, DCP (South).
Police had registered a case on the complaint of Amit Kumar at Mehrauli police station. The complainant's car, registered with cab aggregator Ola, was stolen at gunpoint by a group of miscreants near Qutub Minar Metro station yesterday morning.
During interrogation, Ali Sher admitted that he, along with his accomplices including his cousin Murfat Ali and Rehman, had robbed the car from Amit. Search is on to arrest his accomplices, the officer said.
