The accused and his brother, who run a hair cutting salon in Banda township, had allegedly uploaded the controversial photo yesterday, Circle Officer Puwayan M S Rawat said.
Soon activists of the local unit of the Hindu Yuva Vahini (HYV) reached their salon and beat up the duo, Rawat said.
Police reached the spot and arrested Asid Ansari, one of the two brothers, Rawat said. His brother Asif Ansari managed to escape, he added.
