The driver lost control of the vehicle while moving from Park Circus Seven Point crossing towards Science City side, Lalbazar police sources said.
The mishap caused traffic jam at both ends of the flyover - at Park Circus and E M Bypass-Science City crossing as vehicles stood bumper to bumper.
However, the situation slowly returned to normal as the vehicle was towed away by police and both flanks of the flyover were opened for traffic.
