Following the accident, irate villagers blocked the road for around two hours and also damaged a police vehicle, they said.
According to police, the accident occured when the mini truck hit the motorcycle, on which two youths were going to Sadabad from Baldeo, near village Abairani.
In the collision, Charan Singh (24) died on the spot while Manish got injured and is fighting for life in a private hospital," Dy SP Surendra Yadav said, adding that the driver of the truck managed to flee.
"Traffic was restored when SDM Chandani Singh assured the errant mob of government help as pernorms," Yadav said.
"An FIR against those engaged in pelting of stone on police vehicle and road blockade has been registered," Dy SP added.
