Police arrests 3 accused in dowry death case

A 24-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her in-laws for dowry in Sahibabad area and today three persons, including her mother-in-law, were arrested, police said.
Those arrested include, husband of the deceased Nand Kishore, his brother-in-law Jagdish and his mother Kamla, who were arrested from their house in Lajpat Nagar colony in Sahibabad police station area, Assistant Superintendent of Police Asheesh Srivatav said.
Police had received a complaint from mother of Neha, Jassi alias Saara, in which she had alleged that her daughter was being tortured for dowry by her in-laws and they had killed her on the night of May 18.

Her body was found on the bed by the police, following which a case was registered, the officer said.
