1 killed as bikes collide head-on in UP's Amethi

A person was killed and two others, including an elderly woman, were injured here after two motorcycle collided head-on, police said today.
The incident occurred near Thauri Chauraha on Jagdishpur- Faizabad national highway in which 45-year-old Rajkumar Agrahari died, an official said.
The vehicles of Agrahari, resident of village Haliyapur, and Shyamji Bahadur, who was accompanied by his mother, had a head-on collision, SHO R K Yadav said.
All three persons were injured in the accident and were rushed to the community health centre at Jagdishpur, 10 km off the spot, where Agrahari succumbed to the injuries, the SHO said.

The mother-son duo was undergoing treatment, while a case has been registered, he added.
