35-year-old Ram Kumar was killed and two others, including a woman, were injured as rival faction opened fire yesterday, SP Sharad Sachan said.
The deceased had sold some land but was not handing it over following a dispute over payment, the SP said adding that it took a violent turn during a meeting held near Parashuram enclave to resolve the dispute.
An FIR naming ten persons has been lodged, of whom two have been arrested with a revolver. The accused have also charged the other faction of opening fire but no evidence to prove this has been found yet, the SP said.
