Ashamati was killed on the spot in the mishap, while returning from Hamirpur with her family members, they said.
The injured, including the truck driver Sandeep, were rushed to a nearby hospital, they said, adding, he was later transferred to the city Medical College.
The driver of the container is absconding and efforts are being made to nab him, police said.
