The authority has identified a permanent site for the festival to be developed on the lines of Delhi Haat, director-general of Uttar Pradesh Tourism Sanjiv Saran said here today.
"The fair provides manufacturers, artisans and businessmen of cottage and small industries a rare opportunity to showcase their products to people from various walks of life," he said, adding "Noida is best venue for such event due to close proximity to the national capital".
Two days of the festival has been marked as Women's Day, with programmes and events to be presented exclusively for and by women, he said. Promotional awards of excellence for entrepreneurs and artisans and craftsmen will also be given, he added.
