10 get life term in kidnapping case

A Nawada district court today awarded life imprisonment to 10 persons in a case of kidnapping for ransom.
Nawada Additional District Judge-IV Ram Surat held the 10 guilty of abducting one Ravindra Kumar, alias Munna, from Sangaowa village in Jharkhand on September 27, 2012 and demanding ransom.
Kumar, originally a resident of Govindpur Bazar area of Nawada, was rescued by the police from a cattle-shed at Bokaro in Jharkhand on October 6, 2012.
The police had arrested two persons from the rescue spot and the other eight were nabbed later.
