There were sounds of joy in the jail corridors as the the UP Board results were declared last evening.
According to Jail Superintendent Rakesh Singh, Joga Singh, who is serving a life term, secured 75 per cent, under-trial Babit Singh secured an impressive 74 per cent while Amit Singh got 72 per cent in class 10th examination.
Chirag and Jaigant secured 67 per cent each.
While Mohd Inam secured 74 per cent in class 12th examination, Sumit got 70 per cent, Ashok 65 per cent, Shekher Sharma 64 per cent and Gaurav Sharma secured 60 per cent, the Jail Superintendent said.
UP Board had arranged an examination centre in Dasna (Ghaziabad) Jail for the inmates.
