The 17-year-old accused, who lives near the house of the victim, raped the girl after luring her to his house, police said, adding that the girl narrated the incident to her mother following which a case has been registered.
"The accused has been detained under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and the matter is under investigation," police said.
