11 injured after mini truck overturns

Ten women and the driver of a mini truck were injured after the vehicle in which they were travelling overturned in Uttar Pradesh's Shamli district, police said on Friday.

The accident occurred near Panjith village in Kairana area on Thursday when the women were on way to Ramda village for participating in a post-death ritual, an official said.

The injured women, aged 20-45, and the driver were shifted to a hospital, where some of them are said to be in a serious condition, the official added.
