According to a statement by the Andhra Pradesh government here, 50 people from Iraq reached Delhi late on Monday night and were brought to AP Bhavan here for night stay.
Another batch of 67 Iraq evacuees hailing from Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, East Godavari, West Godavri, Anantapur, Warangal, Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Hyderabad and Mahbubnagar districts reached Delhi early today morning.
All the 117 evacuees were sent to Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam by four flights today, the statement said.
The first batch of 84 construction workers, hailing from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, returned to Delhi from Iraq yesterday and were sent to Hyderabad by flights yesterday evening.
